Photo Color and Quality

  • Only color photos are accepted. 
  • The photo must not be blurred, black and white, edited with filters, or digitally altered. 
  • Lighting should show your natural skin tone, and there must be no shadows on your face.

Head Position and Size

  • Your head must be centered in the photo. 
  • The head size should measure approximately 20–30 mm from the top of the head to the chin.

Photo Recency

  • The passport photo must be taken within the last 6 months and must clearly show your current appearance.

Background

  • The background must be plain white with no patterns, objects, or shadows.

Facial Expression

  • You must have a neutral facial expression. 
  • Your eyes should be open and clearly visible, and your mouth must be closed. 
  • Smiling may cause the photo to be rejected. 
  • Red-eye effects from flash are also not allowed.

Clothing

  • There is no strict dress code, but you should avoid clothing that looks like a uniform. 
  • White or very light-colored clothes are not recommended because they may blend into the white background.

Glasses

  • Prescription glasses are allowed if they do not cover your eyes, reflect light, or cast shadows on your face. 
  • Tinted lenses and sunglasses are not permitted.

Head Coverings and Accessories

  • Hats, caps, headphones, and other head accessories are not allowed. 
  • Religious head coverings are permitted as long as the full face remains visible.
