Your face must occupy 70–80% of the image. The height of your head, measured from the chin to the crown, should be between 32 mm and 36 mm.
You must have a neutral facial expression and face the camera directly. Both eyes must be fully open and clearly visible.
Headwear is only permitted for religious purposes, and it must not cover or obscure any facial features. Glasses should generally be removed to prevent glare and help ensure ICAO compliance.
The photo must have been taken within the last six months. It must be unedited, free from shadows, and professionally printed on high-quality paper if submitted as a physical copy.
