Head Size

  • Your head and face must take up 70% to 80% of the photo. 
  • This should be measured from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head.

Background

  • The background must be plain white.

Paper Quality

  • The photo must be printed using a high-quality camera print on normal photographic paper. 
  • The paper may have either a glossy or matte finish.

Facial Expression and Pose

  • You must face straight forward and look directly into the camera. 
  • Your facial expression must be neutral. Both edges of your face must be clearly visible. 
  • Your mouth must be completely closed, and you must not smile.

Eyes

  • Your eyes must be open and clearly visible.
  •  For babies, their eyes must also be open.

Headgear

  • Headgear is not allowed unless it is worn for strictly religious or medical reasons. 
  • Even in these cases, your full facial features must be completely visible, from the tip of the chin to the forehead.

Glasses

  • Sunglasses and dark or tinted lenses are strictly forbidden. 
  • Prescription glasses may be worn as long as the frames do not cover your eyes and there is no glare on the lenses.

Clothing

  • Uniforms are not allowed. You must wear regular everyday clothing.
