Printed Photograph
Dimensions: 35 mm width × 45 mm height.
The head, measured from chin to crown, must be between 25 mm and 35 mm and centered.
Must be printed on matte or semi-matte (non-reflective) photo paper.
Digital Photograph
Dimensions: 400 × 514 pixels.
Formats accepted: jpg, jpeg, heic, heif, png.
File size must not exceed 8 MB.
General Rules for All Photographs
Taken within the last 3 months, in full colour.
Lighting must be even with no glare or shadows; facial features must be clearly visible.
Image must be sharp, not blurred, pixelated, or distorted.
Shoulders and the full head, including hair, must appear in the frame.
Expression must be neutral, mouth closed, eyes open and looking directly at the camera.
Background must be plain white with no shadows, patterns, or objects.
Headgear is permitted only if dark in colour and it must not obscure any facial features.
Spectacles may be worn only with clear, untinted lenses through which the eyes are fully visible, without reflections.
Contact lenses must be clear and non-coloured.
Red-eye effect is not allowed.
Photographs must not be flipped, mirrored, or altered in any way that changes identifiable features.
