Head Size

  • Your head should take up 70% to 80% of the photograph. 
  • The measurement from the bottom of your chin to the top of your hair should be approximately 31-36 mm.

Background

  • The photograph should have a plain white background. 
  • The background must not contain any shadows, objects, patterns, or other distractions.

Quality and Style

  • The photograph must be recent and should have been taken within the last six months. 
  • It must be clean and undamaged, with no ink marks, creases, or visible signs of editing.
  • You should face the camera directly with a neutral expression and your mouth closed. 
  • Both edges of your face or both ears must be clearly visible. 
  • Your eyes must be completely open and must not be covered by your hair or by eyeglass frames.

Glasses and Headwear

  • Tinted glasses and sunglasses are strictly prohibited. 
  • If you wear regular prescription glasses, it is recommended that you remove them to avoid glare.
  • Head coverings are only permitted for religious or medical purposes. 
  • Any permitted head covering must not obscure your facial features.
