  • It should be sharp, well lit, and free from glare, shadows, or red-eye. 
  • The photo must not be blurry, overexposed, or edited in a way that changes the applicant’s natural appearance.

Clothing and Appearance

  • Applicants should wear regular everyday clothing that contrasts with the background. 
  • Hats, caps, and other head coverings are generally not allowed unless worn for religious reasons. 
  • Hair must not cover the face or eyes.

Glasses and Accessories

  • Glasses are generally discouraged unless they are medically necessary. If worn, they must not cause glare or obstruct the eyes. 
  • Tinted lenses are not allowed. 
  • Accessories should be kept minimal and must not hide any facial features.
