  • The lighting must be even, with no shadows across your face. 
  • Flash reflections and red-eye are not allowed.

Eyes and hair

  • Your eyes must be open and clearly visible. 
  • Your hair must not block your eyes.

Glasses and head coverings

  • You must not wear glasses in the photograph. 
  • Head coverings are permitted only if your entire face remains visible. 
  • Your face must be clearly shown from the bottom of your chin to the top of your forehead, including both sides of your face.
