Religious or belief-related head coverings: Permitted if plain, one colour, and contrasting with the background.
Children under 6: Not required to meet head alignment, shoulder, or expression rules. Any support must not be visible.
Medical reasons: A medical certificate may be requested if requirements cannot be met.
Allowed: beard, wig, hairstyle changes, long fringe (eyes and face visible), glasses (optional), oxygen or feeding tube, makeup, earrings.
Not allowed: caps or hats (except religious/medical reasons, plain one colour), eyes closed, reusing the same photo as in a previous document.
