Photo size
The photo must be 35 × 45 mm (3.5 cm wide × 4.5 cm high).
General rules
The photo must be taken within the last 6 months.
The background must be plain white.
Your face must be centered, clearly visible, and in sharp focus with natural colors.
You must look straight at the camera, keep your head upright, eyes open, and mouth closed.
No other people or objects may appear in the photo.
Appearance
Neutral facial expression only.
Glasses are not allowed.
Hats or head coverings are not allowed, except for religious reasons, as long as the face is fully visible.
Clothing should contrast with the background; avoid wearing white.
Photo quality
The photo must be high-resolution, sharp, and evenly lit with no shadows or reflections.
Printed photos must be on high-quality photo paper.
Children and infants
The same size (35 × 45 mm) applies.
The child must be alone in the photo, with the face clearly visible.
Minor exceptions may apply for infants (for example, slightly closed eyes).
