Photo Timing and Appearance
The photo must be taken within the last 6 months and must accurately show your current appearance.
Pose and Composition
You must face the camera directly. Your head should occupy 50% to 70% of the total image height, measured from the top of your hair to the bottom of your chin.
Clothing and Accessories
Hats or head coverings are only permitted if worn daily for religious reasons, and they must not hide your face, obscure your hairline, or cast shadows.
Children’s Photos
Children must be photographed alone. No supporting items or visible hands or arms may appear in the frame.
Unacceptable Sources
Photos copied from driver licenses or other official documents are not allowed. Snapshots, magazine images, mobile-device photos, vending-machine photos, and full-length photos are also not acceptable.
