Size

  • The overall photo must measure 35 mm in width and 45 mm in height. 
  • The face itself, measured from chin to crown (excluding hair), must be between 32 mm and 36 mm in length.

Colour

  • The photograph must be in colour.

Brightness, contrast

  • The photo must have proper contrast and must not be overexposed or underexposed. 
  • No shadows may fall on the face or background. 

Photo quality

  • The image must be clean, free of scratches, creases, or any marks.

Head

  • The head must be uncovered, with no headgear of any kind. 
  • It must be facing forward in a straight position.

Face and eyes

  • The face must remain completely visible, without obstruction. 
  • Both eyes must be open and clearly seen.

Hair

  • Hair must not fall over the face or eyes. 
  • Bangs are acceptable if they do not cover the eyes, and the ears must remain visible.

Glasses and frames

  • Glasses may be worn only with thin frames that do not hide the eyes. 
  • Tinted or coloured lenses are prohibited, and the photo must be free of reflections on the lenses.

Expression

  • The subject must look directly at the camera lens. 
  • The mouth must be closed, and the expression must remain neutral.

Background

  • The background must be plain and light in colour, such as light grey or light blue. A white background is not acceptable.
