Size and Composition
Photo size: 3.5 × 4.5 cm.
The image must show the head and upper shoulders, centered and facing forward.
The face (top of forehead to chin) must fill 70–80% of the image, about 1 inch tall.
Image Quality
Proper brightness and contrast with natural skin tones required.
Photos that are too bright or dark are unacceptable.
Must be sharp, clear, and free of marks, creases, or lines.
Lighting should be even, with no shadows on the face or background.
Red-eye is not allowed.
Appearance and Expression
Maintain a neutral expression while looking directly at the camera.
Eyes must be open and unobstructed by hair.
Glasses are allowed if thin-framed, clear, and glare-free.
Head coverings or accessories are permitted only for religious or cultural reasons and must not cover the face.
Background and Printing
Background must be plain and light-colored, with no objects or people visible.
The photo must be professionally printed with continuous-tone, high-resolution quality.
Polaroid or home-printed photos are not acceptable.
