File Format and Size
Accepted formats: .jpg or .jpeg
Dimensions: 1300×1600 px (minimum) to 6000×7380 px (maximum)
File size: between 1 MB and 5 MB
Must be a color image, unedited, and in sharp focus
Composition
Show head and upper shoulders
Face should fill 70–80% of the image
Use a plain, light-colored background with clear contrast
No other people, objects, marks, scratches, or shadows
Camera positioned at eye level with face centered
Expression and Appearance
Look straight at the camera
Keep a neutral expression with mouth closed
Eyes open and clearly visible; hair should not cover the face
No facial coverings unless required for religious or medical reasons
Keep head level (no tilt)
Glasses
Eyes must be visible through lenses
Frames must not obscure the eyes
No reflections or tinted lenses

Scans or photos of printed photos
Selfies; the photo must be taken by another person
