Queensland Driver Licence Photo Requirements

Size and Dimensions

  • Your eyes must be open and your mouth closed.

Glasses

  •  Glasses are not permitted unless supported by a signed medical statement.

 Clothing and Appearance

  • You must wear everyday clothing. Darker colours are recommended to avoid blending into the background.

Head Coverings

  • Head coverings are permitted only for religious or medical reasons. In such cases, they must be plain and pattern-free.

Hair

  • Your full face must be clearly visible.
  • Long hair or bangs must be tucked behind the ears or secured with hairpins.

 

Jewellery and Piercings

  • Jewellery is permitted provided it does not obscure any part of your face.
  • Facial piercings are not strictly prohibited but are discouraged.
