Sit upright, look directly at camera, eyes open
No smiling, mouth closed
Remove glasses or sunglasses
Keep hair clear of face and eyes
Head coverings
Allowed for cultural or religious reasons if worn for that purpose
Entire face visible: chin to forehead, both edges included
No shadows on face
Hats, novelty wigs not permitted
Hair accessories acceptable if they do not block facial features
